In July 2022 I took a sabbatical.
Here is what I posted about it before…… written June 30th.
What am I doing? Writing my next book, taking care of my current clients and most importantly taking a much-needed break.
You see… I have been entrepreneuring a long long time. (The other day I talked about “business-ing” with my hubby…. haha)
Since 1997 as a Masters Level Counselor then as a Coach after that…and in the middle as a candle salesperson, an artist, and a few other treks into places that were fun!!
When the Big C arrived in 2020, I didn’t skip a beat. My business got busier. I served, I walked alongside. I did all of the things… except eat sourdough bread and watch Netflix all day long. (I don’t eat gluten and we only turn the TV on at night for a few shows and that is plenty… haha!!)

What am I doing in July?
During my time away I am also birthing. Not a baby. But 3 books and a new invitation.
PLUS~~~a SILENT RETREAT!! Just got it confirmed.
I am preparing a new high-ticket, high-touch mastermind for you. It is so much fun. It is packed with transformation, adventure and a fresh vibe. Doors will open for enrollment as soon as I get home or back~~ or honestly whenever I feel like it. Cue the song, “It’s my sabbatical and I’ll do what I want to….” whooo hoooo!!

This sabbatical is about me getting back to me, letting go of the rules, the shoulds, and the drama that I can put on top of myself. Letting go of who I think you want me to be and actually being ME! Leaning into God.
I am going to wander….. and wonder. Create and Curate.
I am going to serve my current clients, inner circle mastermind and write my book(s).
I am going to sit in my backyard with my fancy sonic ice and a non-alcoholic beverage.
I am going to go to my 12-step meetings.
Frankly, I am going to do what I need to do, or what I want to do. I am going to listen deeply to myself. I deserve it. So do you.

END OF JULY UPDATE!! Written July 30th
- I did not complete 3 books, but I moved 3 books forward.
- I did go on my SILENT RETREAT. The podcast and blog about that are here!
- I welcomed 2 new women into my Inner Circle Mastermind
- I stopped getting on the scale and logging all of my food all day…. and found FREEDOM!
- I recorded and published 6 podcasts. Link here!
- I read lots of books… let me make a list and post it here soon!
- We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary!
- I completed my project of meeting with 50 women in 50 days for Quick Win Consults~~ in 45 days
- I hired a new mentor for a short term deep dive experience that will happen in August
- I took 24 hours (at least) off of Facebook each weekend to refresh and renew my mind and my heart
- I exercised 50 minutes each day as a part of my 50 in 50 plan~One day realizing at 10pm that I still needed to do 25 more minutes and getting it done….UGH!!!
- I STEPPED INTO MY FIRE!!! Raising all of my rates, welcoming my next career evolution and not letting old stories win.
I might have more to add and will be doing a BLOG/podcast about my completion of the 50 in 50 project next week! Watch for that.
